Seacrest Country Day School
PBS Contractors was selected to work on 4 phases of the school construction projects at Seacrest Country Day School during the early 2000’s and enjoyed working closely with the staff at the school to help them through every phase of the their school construction projects, as well as the transition through the opening of the three phases. Seacrest Country Day School is a premiere private school in Naples serving pre-k through 9th grade and enrolls students from Bonita Springs to Marco Island.
Phase 1 involved a completed campus reconfiguration and construction of the 17,000 square foot, two-story Resource Center at the south end of the newly created courtyard. Designed by Burt Hill/Pollock & Krieg, the Resource Center contains the library, media center, technology labs, computer labs and flexible classrooms. At the time of construction, the technology center was considered one of the top centers around, drawing public media attention for the advanced technology used and available for the kids to learn. Throughout the numerous entry road moves, PBS worked very closely with the staff and parents to ensure smooth and safe drop-off and pick-up with little disturbance for the children attending school.
PHASE 2 & 3
Phase 2 involved adding a 6,500 square foot Student Services building and Phase 3 involved adding an 11,574 square foot two story Classroom building with two high tech labs designed by Mark J. Leonardi Architects.
Phase 4 involved construction of the gymnasium / auditorium, also designed by Mark J. Leonardi Architects. PBS completed the gym in time for Seacrest to coincide the ribbon cutting of the gym with the 20th birthday celebration of Seacrest Country Day School.
