NAPLES, FLORIDA, APRIL 20, 2023: Russell Budd, Founder of PBS Contractors, hosted his semiannual award-winning barbecue, known as “Russell’s Barbecue,” on April 14th, benefiting the Holocaust Museum & Cohen Education Center. Nearly $7,000 has been raised so far to financially assist the Museum and their mission.
In 2019, PBS Contractors transformed the Museum into its permanent home and an award-winning Museum. It is an honor to work with the organization once again on the second phase of their expansion, set to open this summer.
The Museum’s mission is to teach the lessons of the Holocaust, inspiring action against bigotry, hatred, and violence. They achieve their mission by displaying artifacts and photographs which tell the individual stories within the larger history of the Holocaust, providing educational programs and activities to students at all grade levels, and presenting public programs and exhibits that highlight elements of its collection and stories related to the Holocaust and other genocides.

Past beneficiaries of Russell’s Barbecue include Collier County 100 Club, Wounded Warriors of Collier County, Humane Society Naples, David Lawrence Centers, Golden PAWS Assistance Dogs, Collier-Lee Honor Flight, and others.
