NAPLES, FLORIDA, MAY 22, 2024: PBS Contractors is thrilled to announce that it has been named a Silver Finalist in three prestigious categories with the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) Aurora Awards.
The Aurora Awards recognize excellence in the home building and design industry, and PBS Contractors’ inclusion in this elite group underscores our commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
The categories in which PBS Contractors is a finalist are:

Best Renovated or Restored Residential Project
Originally built in 1982, this penthouse suite overlooking the Gulf of Mexico needed modernizing. The once disjointed space was transformed into one open space connecting the beautiful new kitchen with the airy living area. The family, who spends season in Naples, can now enjoy time together in a beautiful and functional space.
Best Renovated or Restored Single House
This long-standing client with PBS looked to modernize their 1997 home. Overseeing a lake, the client’s design inspirations were drawn from their love of the water and appreciation for colorful pieces of art. Collaborating with the Interior Designer and PBS, a forever home for their family and grandchildren was created for them to enjoy for many years to come.
Best Recreation Facility or Amenity Sports Challenge
This project is the expansion of the facilities at the Bonita Springs Poker Room, which used to be the former Bonita Springs Greyhound Track. When greyhound racing was outlawed in 2018, the owners hired us to build the Poker Room, a 30,000-square-foot gaming facility. Sports Challenge America is a new standalone building to the west of the Poker Room which features exciting games and activities, both indoor and outdoor. Inside, there are six regulation-size bowling lanes and five multi-use simulator rooms with virtual activities, including golf, shooting, soccer, hockey, baseball, and more.
Winners will be announced at the Aurora Awards Gala in Orlando, Florida on July 26.
