Russell’s Barbecue: A Tradition of Community and Connection

Russell’s Barbecue

A Tradition of Community and Connection

Russell’s Barbecue is a renowned, invitation-only event held twice each year, in spring and fall. This exclusive event features meats smoked by Russell and the PBS Contractors team, along with the Wall Systems team, his other company. The process begins three days in advance, where Russell and his team prepare the meats with meticulous care, ensuring every detail is perfect. The night before the event, Russell and his family monitor the smoking process to guarantee optimal flavor.

Since 2011, Russell’s Barbecue has not only been a celebration of good food but a way to give back to the community. Originally focused on supporting staff members during difficult times, the event has evolved into a fundraiser for local organizations. Each spring and fall, the PBS Contractors team selects a local nonprofit—often one we’ve worked with through construction projects or volunteer efforts—as the recipient of the event’s fundraising.

Russell’s Barbecue is a unique way to bring people together, enjoy delicious food, and make a positive impact on our community.
