NAPLES, FLORIDA, December 1, 2021- PBS Contractors is pleased to announce Tim Dupre has accepted the role of President and CEO for the local construction company. Dupre joins PBS bringing with him over 17 years of leadership experience in Southwest Florida.
“We are excited to welcome Tim as the new President & CEO,” says Russell Budd, Founder of PBS Contractors. “PBS has just celebrated 35 years in business, and for the past few years, I have been working on the succession plan for the company. This succession plan is based on a firm set of principles, ones I am not willing to sway from. While I have every intention of continuing to support the team, it was time to look at the future and next generation. I’ve known Tim for years, and after meeting with him several times to discuss the business opportunities with PBS, I knew he would align with the vision and bring the perfect leadership and dynamic to the company and team.”
Tim was born in Naples and has lived in Southwest Florida his entire life. Tim currently lives in Cape Coral with his wife of 23 years, Christine, and their 11-year-old daughter, Sydney. Tim was raised in a family working in the construction industry and has been around construction his entire career. Prior to joining the PBS team, Tim spent 24 years working for one of the largest air conditioning companies in Southwest Florida. During this tenure, he worked his way up through the organization, starting as an apprentice installer. Over the years, he received eight promotions, leaving the organization as the President & CEO. During his time there, the company grew from a Collier County-based company to a regional organization, serving clients as far north as Manatee County.
“I am extremely excited to join the PBS family,” says Tim Dupre. “After working in the same trade for most of my career, I wanted to challenge myself to something new. Leaving one organization after 24 years was not an easy decision! It was critical to find another organization with a great culture, amazing people, great reputation, and one that supports the community. I have known Russell and some other key members of the PBS team for years, working together on some past projects and networking in the same circles. After several meetings with Russell and the key leadership team, it was clear our personal core values and guiding principles were perfectly aligned for a great partnership. I am excited to join the organization and build upon the legacy that PBS has established over the last 35 years. In the end, joining a company that focuses on Building Better Lives for our Team, our Clients, and our Community, made the decision an easy one.”
Tim’s support of the community is as impressive as his career. Outside of his day-to-day responsibilities, Tim and his family spend as much time in the community as possible. Some of the organizations they support include The American Heart Association, The Humane Society, ASPCA, St. Jude’s, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida, Best Buddies, and several other not-for-profit organizations.
